Word on the Decline

  • On a tangent from last week's post on B2Gold, we've been thinking more about Snowline and its world-class Valley deposit (Rogue project)

  • When peeling into its PEA, there’s a detail that catches our eye

  • If you look at the screenshot below, the star does a handy job of hiding the fact that the tenements surrounding Valley don't actually belong to Snowline

  • These belong to TSX-listed junior Gold Strike (Mcap C$69m)

  • Notably, the planned access road (dotted line on the above map) and mine camp sit directly on GSR claims

  • Bearing in mind the geography (literally within a valley), re-routing the road &/or moving the camp isn't all that convenient

  • Sooner rather than later, we think a tie-up is the more likely outcome, given the generational value of Rogue
