Word on the Decline

  • Dataroom reports Ramelius has enlisted advisers to pursue Northern Star's Carosue Dam, with an $800m price tag doing the rounds.

  • We're not surprised RMS is interested. We're more curious who decided Carosue is worth $800m.

  • Jefferies has it at $529m NAV, with production forecast to fall from 212koz last year to 70koz by FY29.

  • There's a sensible deal to be done here. Heck if Edna May is worth $300m, perhaps Carasoue Dam is worth $800m.

  • Anyway, in the spirit of encouraging more professional AGM pests, we’ve built a handy calendar of every ASX AGM this season: https://agm.moneyofmine.com/
