Word on the Decline
Two more ASX juniors have hung out the For Sale sign recently:
CuFe ($101m) today appointed Sternship to “explore strategic and funding options” for its Tennant Creek copper portfolio. Pan African with 15% and a growth focus at Tennant is the natural buyer, who bought their CUF stake at 5c vs 4.9c today.
Western Gold Resources ($22m) took a less conventional route to the shop window when Wiluna's CIL tank failure torpedoed its planned toll-treatment pathway for the 277koz Gold Duke project, leaving WGR searching for alternatives, including “via a potential corporate transaction.” Those ounces are still worth much more to Wiluna than anyone else. But the company needs to finish its IPO first.
