Word on the Decline
Asara’s Kada is starting to look like a genuinely interesting gold development project. The resource now stands at 2.1Moz, with a meaningful 0.73Moz of Indicated oxide, giving Asara a solid base from which to build the DFS.
There is also plenty still to test, with most drilling concentrated at Massan. With Jeff Quartermaine in the chair and the project steadily de-risking, Kada has the hallmarks of something that could attract a larger gold producer.
Our read, though, is that AS1 ultimately gets the chance to build it (sorry to disappoint readers expecting a deal rumour). And they’re fast-tracking their way there, forget the PFS milestone altogether, DFS is next.
