Word on the Decline
CuFe's consolidation of its Tennant Creek JV with Gold Valley and Horseshoe looks to us like another step towards an increasingly obvious endgame. We’re planting our flag early. We'd be very surprised if Pan African doesn't acquire CuFe in 2027.
Pan African already owns ~15% of CuFe, operates the nearby Nobles gold processing plant and has publicly identified synergies with CuFe's Gecko and Orlando projects. It has the strategic rationale, the infrastructure and a foot on the register. Subtlety is not required to join the dots.
If CuFe is still independent come Christmas 2027, we'll have badly misread the tea leaves.
